Ingredients for making cornmeal bombocado with cheese:
3 egg units
½ liter of milk
1½ cups of sugar (240 grams)
1 tablespoon of softened butter
½ cup of cornmeal (60 grams)
½ cup of wheat flour (70 grams)
2 cups of grated cheese
1 tablespoon of chemical yeast
1 pinch of salt
How to make sweet cornmeal bombocado with cheese:
Start by preparing this recipe for cornmeal bombocado with cheese by preheating the oven to medium temperature. In a bowl or blender, beat the eggs with milk, butter, sugar and salt until smooth.
Add cornmeal, wheat flour and cheese and mix thoroughly - if you are preparing the recipe in a blender, place these ingredients in a bowl and add the blender mixture to them. Finally add the yeast and mix lightly.
Tip: Use a cheese to your liking, we indicated mozzarella for having a mild flavor.
Butter a square or rectangular baking pan and flour. Place the mixture in the pan and bake for about 40 minutes or until golden.
Tip: The toothpick test does not work in this recipe as the cake is slightly damp after baking.
